Spray Foam Insulation in a High-Rise Tower

Installing spray foam insulation in a high-rise tower poses challenges for most spray foam companies. Because the trucks generally have a limited hose length, it can often be impossible to bring the hose up past a few stories. Hoses can be dangerous when they are fighting gravity. The shortest distance outside a building would pose potential safety risks to people and property should the hose slip or a leak occur.

For this reason, Foam Comfort has the technology to make the units portable. The compressor units can be rolled off our truck and brought up by elevator to the installation site. This makes the application less risky, quicker, and cleaner. Areas often addressed are terraces or overhangs (cantilevers), walls, rooflines, ducting and mechanical rooms.

Sprayed polyurethane foam can be used both for new and retrofit construction.
